Learn more about the outcomes we have outlined in our focus areas of Meeting Basic and Emergency Needs, Strengthening Children and Families and Promoting Health and Independence on our Outcomes page.
In addition to ongoing agency partnerships, we identify special needs and opportunities. With your generous United Way contribution, we are getting to the heart of problems and creating lasting changes.
The John Coughlin Food & Resource Center
Food is arguably the most basic need for families and individuals in our communities. United Way’s John Coughlin Food & Resource Center distributes large quantities of donated boxed, canned and fresh food to food pantries, the homeless and domestic abuse shelters and community meal programs.
Success By 6
Our community partnership, Success By 6, is working to ensure that all children in our region get the same high quality start in life. We are providing resources to help parents prepare their children for school success.
Farmers Fighting Hunger
United Way's Farmers Fighting Hunger is partnering with farmers in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix Counties to ensure no one in the St. Croix Valley goes to bed hungry.
Shelter For All
United Way continues its support for Shelter For All through Grace Place, Serenity Home and other shelters and transitional housing.
United Way Worldwide has created the United Way Worldwide Disaster Fund, introduced a text-to-give program, and is coordinating the integration of disaster response efforts from United Ways around the world.
