Northern Wisconsin

United Way in northern Wisconsin is about neighbors helping neighbors with what matters in Burnett and Washburn Counties.  About two dozen nonprofit agencies are supported by the annual campaign.  These agencies help United Way achieve our mission of building strong, safe and caring communities. 

Nexen Group, Inc. started a United Way campaign at their facility in 1995.  Nexen has been a leader in bringing the many benefits of  United Way to northern Wisconsin.  The company and its employees have been generous donors to United Way.  Through their efforts, United Way's investment in local communities has grown every year.  United Way and our partner agencies responded to the tornado in Siren.  We support local fire departments and a variety if other northern Wisconsin agencies.   

United Way is expanding our presence in northern Wisconsin.  We invite other area businesses and local residents to participate in our annual campaign for Burnett and Washburn Counties.
