Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities with United Way St. Croix Valley
Campaign Volunteer
Volunteers work on all aspects of the campaign. This includes making calls on current corporate accounts and follow-up on the accounts. Our volunteers are expected to attend a training session and will be given a full position description. Volunteers will work August through November.
Fund Distribution Volunteer
Stay tuned for more information on next spring's fund distribution process and volunteer needs.
Volunteer in Your Local Community
We ask you to consider spending part of a day volunteering in your local community. It could be helping a nonprofit agency with painting or organizing. Many clients of our partner agencies need assistance. Seniors might need help with household chores, yard work or minor repairs. Come up with an idea! United Way will help bring people together.
Volunteer with Student United Way
If you attend the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, you can join its Student United Way organization and learn about even more volunteer opportunities on campus and in the community. Email Kate Smith for more information.
Day of Caring Volunteer
The Day of Caring is our annual community service day where teams of volunteers work on small projects for local seniors and nonprofit agencies. Stay tuned for information on next year's Day of Caring event. Email John Coughlin for more information on how you can get involved.
