United Way St. Croix Valley advances the common good by creating opportunities for all. We focus on projects supporting education, financial stability and health--the building blocks for a good quality of life. We work with businesses, individuals and nonprofits to solve community problems in St. Croix, Pierce and Polk counties.
United Way St. Croix Valley responds to local community needs. In addition to the agencies that we support through our annual campaign, we identify and address special needs and opportunities in our communities.
We direct several important programs:
- 211 St. Croix Valley provides free, confidential information and
referrals in Pierce, Polk, St. Croix and Burnett Counties
- The Success By 6 initiative prepares children to succeed in school
- The John Coughlin Food & Resource Center helps families struggling with hunger
- Farmers Fighting Hunger provides local fresh produce and other healthy food to food pantries in Pierce, Polk and St. Croix counties
