In an effort to engage young people in United Way and its goals, United Way Worldwide launched a student group on college campuses all across the country. The University of Wisconsin-River Falls was one of the first schools to launch a campus organization, which is partnered with United Way St. Croix Valley.
The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Student United Way was founded in the fall of 2008 and has since participated in a variety of activities benefiting United Way St. Croix Valley and its partner agencies, including several fundraising drives and many local volunteer opportunities.
