YMCA - Hudson

YMCA is looking for volunteers to help rebuild their community garden and scrape paint and prep their Skate Park ramps. Email YMCA or call them at (715) 386-1616 if you can volunteer. 

Camp Avanti

Volunteers are needed to assist with the therapeutic horseback riding program. Duties include leading the horses during therapy sessions and side walking next to the horse to keep riders safe. Training and supervision will be provided by a certified therapeutic riding instructor.
Volunteers are needed Sunday July 1, 2017 to Friday July 6, 2018. Hours are 8:30 – 5:00 pm. Part time volunteers also needed: either 3 full days or 5 half days. Volunteers must be 18 years old to stay at camp without a parent. Experience with horses preferred, but not essential. Training will be provided. To volunteer, contact Heather Schmidt by email

ADRC of St. Croix County

The DayAway Program is a day respite program for older adults who are frail or have memory issues. It is offered through the ADRC of St. Croix County. This program supports caregivers' well-being by giving them time to recharge and replenish themselves. It is a fun, safe and structured environment for the care-receiver. The day includes a home cooked meal, a variety of games, crafts, exercises and movies. There are lots of laughs throughout the day. Volunteers are currently needed 9am-3pm Mondays in Hudson. Interfaith Caregivers of Polk County

Receive instant gratification. Help a senior citizen or disabled adult in your community with yard work. Assist with simple chores, like raking, picking up branches, washing outside windows. St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity

Volunteers are needed at both our upcoming home build in Hammond, WI as well as at our Roberts ReStore location. ReStores are thrift stores focused mostly on building and construction materials, items for home renovation, and everything in between. All of the profits generated at the ReStores go directly back to Habitat for Humanity to help build and renovate more homes, as well as reduce landfill waste.
Volunteers are needed Tuesday-Saturday to help run the cash register, pick up donations, create floor displays, and to fix and place donations on the floor. This is the perfect opportunity for people who love to tinker, upcycle, and DIY and/or those who are interested in learning how to do them.
Do you have a passion for or are interested in learning construction? Do you want to help provide safe, decent, affordable homes for people in your community? Volunteering to do construction with St. Croix Valley Habitat is for you. We currently are starting construction in Hammond and are looking to undertake multiple home renovation projects in Pierce and St. Croix counties, but we need your help in getting there.
