Our Impact

United Way St. Croix Valley advances the common good by creating opportunities for all. We focus on projects supporting education, financial stability and health - the building blocks for a good quality of life. We work with businesses, individuals and nonprofits to solve community problems in St. Croix, Pierce, Polk, and Burnett counties.

United Way St. Croix Valley responds to local community needs through our annual campaign and local community impact initiatives.  Funds raised through our annual campaign support local nonprofits in addressing the areas of greatest need in our communities.

Our community impact initiatives include 211 St. Croix Valley, our information and referral service that connects callers to the resources available in our communities, the Success By 6 initiative to provide the support children need to be successful, the Mental Health First Aid training initiative to bring critical mental health awareness and resources to our service area, the John Coughlin Hope Fund to provide funding to individuals and families with verifiable emergency needs when other services or funds are unavailable, and giveBIG St. Croix Valley, the annual community-wide day of giving that helps local nonprofits raise awareness of their missions, promote their organizations, and connect with new and existing donors to raise funds.

In addition to the nonprofit agencies we support each year and our community impact initiatives, we continuously identify and address special needs and opportunities in our communities to ensure we are filling any gaps and responding to the areas of greatest need.
