Success By 6

United Way St. Croix Valley's Success By 6 program promotes healthy early childhood development to ensure children enter school ready to succeed.  UWSCV works with a network of community partners to build communities where all children have the necessary physical, mental, emotional, and social development before age six to successfully grow and learn.

Success By 6 leads special projects and initiatives in our region with help from community partners.  We work to address unmet needs and bring our communities together to create lasting change.

UWSCV works to achieve these priorities through programs, projects, and initiatives in partnership with early childhood resources in Burnett, Pierce, Polk, and St. Croix Counties.

WALK, ROLL & READ

Walk, Roll & Read events bring families and children together at local parks to enjoy a nature walk with story tents and children's activities along the way.

Hosted by United Way's Success By 6 program and community partners, Walk, Roll & Read provides an opportunity for parents, caregivers, and children to enjoy a walk through the woods, to read and participate in fun activities together, and learn more about community resources.

All children in attendance are able to choose a new book donated by UWSCV to take home.

Access to a sufficient supply of diapers is essential for the health of infants and toddlers, but too many families do not have the resources to adequately provide for this basic need.

United Way Success By partners with local organizations to help build the diaper supply network in our region that have extremely limited or no resources available.  We provide no-cost diapers and wipes for children in need. Click HERE to learn more.

Your organization can partner with United Way St. Croix Valley to host a diaper drive!  Organizing a diaper drive is a fun way to connect with your team and community!  We make it easy by providing resources, assistance, and marketing materials to increase the success of your drive!

If you are a parent/caregiver that is having difficulty affording diapers for your child, you can access free diaper resources by calling 211 and asking to be connected to the Success By 6 Early Childhood Family Navigator.

If you have questions, or would like to host a drive please contact United Way Success By 6 Program Director, BrieAnn Klepp, at brieann.klepp@unitedwaystcroix.org or call 715.377.0203 x104.

There are several diaper banks in the community offering free diapers to those in need which are listed below. Call Brie or Betsy at 715-245-1593 for more information and to register. This helps to ensure the pantry has the size diaper you need on the day of pick up.
