UWSCV Announces Search for Next Leader

Today we are announcing the departure of United Way St. Croix Valley’s Executive Director, Lisa Murphy.  Lisa will be leaving the post for a new opportunity at the end of November.  We are very appreciative of her leadership as Executive Director and wish her all of the best in this new opportunity.  With that, we are announcing the open position and search effort for a new Executive Director.

During her time at UWSCV, Lisa has overseen a period of change and growth for UWSCV.  She has helped usher in a new strategic plan through the Board of Directors and staff, built new Community Impact programs in partnership with the team, helped improve operations and organizational processes, and positioned UWSCV well for continued success.

“It has been a true privilege to work alongside the UWSCV team, and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished together,” said Lisa. “We’ve worked really hard to set ourselves up for success, and I am excited to see what a fresh and energetic set of eyes can achieve with so many strong foundational changes in place.  UWSCV is a truly important pillar of the community, and I look forward to watching it thrive.”

The Board thanks Lisa for her contributions and leadership in her time here and is confident that Lisa and the UWSCV team will make this a smooth transition for our partners and supporters.

We will be conducting a thorough search to find UWSCV’s next Executive Director. It is the Board’s priority to find a dynamic leader with a true passion for UWSCV’s mission: Uplifting people by building relationships, connecting resources, and uniting the St. Croix Valley communities. We invite interested candidates to visit unitedwaystcroix.org/careers for information on how to apply and ask for your help in identifying candidates who can help UWSCV take its next steps.

Sincerely,

Josh Lindseth, President, UWSCV Board of Directors
